I was luckily able to get my room before check in time officially started. It was great that the hotel gave us free ticket for the local transport! I liked the radiator in my room which I could adjust to make my room warmer. Breakfast was good. There was a glass water bottle in the room which could be filled with drinking water at the 1rst floor. I liked the old fancy style of the hotel building. The location right next to the main railwaystation is handy.

The location of the hotel was excellent, directly outside of the railway station, just crossing the street. Also the room given to us had an excellent location. I was travelling with a heavy suitcase and my companion had low mobility, and the hotel personnel got us a easy accessible room with a good view. The room and hotel in general were comfortable. The hotel personnel gave us a very service, answering kindly to our questions and supporting us when needed. We got breakfast at the hotel, and it had a good diversity of sweet and salty options.

Great central location opposite the main train station with access to trams, buses and metro. Hotel provides a free ticket to public transport for the duration of the stay. Room was comfortable, clean and with adjustable heating controls. Bathroom had both a shower and a bath. A complimentary safe is provided in each room. There is 24 hour reception and the staff were efficient, helpful and friendly.

Hotel was right across the street from Hamburg central station. Easy access for transportation. Room overlooked main street and stationed, despite being close to station, was NEVER noisy. Staff were very friendly and willing to help you with any questions you had. Breakfast was excellent -coffee,tea, juices, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausages, rolls. Breakfast opens at 6:00 AM allowing you an early start for the day. Multiple restaurants close by for evening meals.

We had a very pleasant stay overall. The staff was polite, friendly and always happy to assist us. The room we stayed in was on the 5th floor , overlooking the station and the town. The room itself was comfortable, cleaned everyday and we enjoyed our stay there. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient if you plan on using public transportation to move around the city as it is directly opposite the central station of the city. The hotel provided a 3day pass for public transportation which was extremely useful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this hotel.

Location was perfect - directly across from the main railway station with a train direct to and from the airport. A complementary 3 day travel pass was an added bonus. Single rooms were small but had everything a guest could need. A nice little touch was a welcome basket with sewing kit, shoe horn and shoe cloth and a vanity kit in the bathroom with cotton buds, cleansing pads and an emery board.

Nice, old hotel very convenient to Hamburg's main train station -- just across the street. For a city hotel, our room was quiet and spacious and had two nice chairs for comfortable sitting. Nice shower in bathroom. Good breakfast with very diverse offerings. City center and museums all in easy walking distance, and many restaurants also in easy walking distance. We would stay here again if we ever get back to elegant Hamburg.

Close to railway station, literally right across the street from one of the entrances, which was perfect for us as we were catching an early morning train. Relatively fast check-in and fast check-out. Friendly personnel. Clean room.

Location is directly opposite the main train station, so easy to get to from the airport for €2.90 Room was quiet at night especially for a city centre hotel and was a decent size Shower was a good size and water pressure was excellent Bed was comfy and the WI-FI was strong and consistent enough to watch streamed TV All areas were clean and the breakfast exactly what you expect in a German hotel Staff were friendly and efficient

The hotel is right across the street from the main train station in Hamburg, so very conveniently located. Of course, there are a lot of places to eat within walking distance, and it's very easy to get around the city via the metro. (With my stay, I got two days of free metro use.) Check in was easy. The way to my room was a bit difficult to follow, but I only got turned around once. The room itself was large enough for a bed, a desk, a dresser, and an attached bathroom. The shower had hot water with great water pressure. The bed was comfortable. The TV stations were almost all in German, so I used the wifi to stream TV shows. The only drawback during my stay was that there were people yelling in the streets all the time, so I had to close my window, bu that's nothing to do with the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I'd return there again.
